Abstract

The dataset contains definitive minute values of the geomagnetic field based on observations from the Paratunka INTERMAGNET magnetic observatory (IAGA code: PET) for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2023. The components X (Northward), Y (Eastward), and Z (Downward) are provided. Additionally, the quantity G=Fv-Fs is provided — the difference between the magnitude of the field vector Fv calculated from components X, Y, and Z and the magnitude of the total vector Fs measured independently by a scalar magnetometer. The data are provided in IAGA-2002 and Intermagnet Archive Format (IAF). Access to the data is open.
