Abstract
Dataset of magnetic susceptibility Miocene sediments of the Paratethys obtained using a kappameter during field survey. The data were obtained in the course of many years of field surveys and laboratory investigations of the Miocene reference sections of the Taman-Kerch Region of Russia and Eastern Georgia. To visualize geospatial data and conduct a detailed lithological analysis of the Miocene deposits of the Paratethys, the Interactive Geology Atlas geoportal (https://geology-gis.gcras.ru/) was created, which includes a comprehensive set of accumulated spatial geodata with the ability to use geoprocessing and analysis tools.
