Abstract

Seismotectonics map of Eastern Siberia provides illustrative examples of selection of active faults, paleoseismology and neotectonic structures closely associated with the dynamics of focal zones of strong earthquakes. The map is the result of studies summarized in the article of Imaeva et al. [2015; doi:10.2205/2015NZ000125].

This map is accompanied with the interactive online version and MPMviewer, developed by the Vestnik ONZ RAS editorial group. It supports convenient viewing with possibilities to zoom image in and out and work in window and full screen modes. In case when reader has slow connection to Internet we recommend to download compressed file MPMviever.zip which contains both seismotectonic map and viewer, so one can work with map in local regime. No special installation is required, simply unzip this file and open index.html file in your browser.
